Get in the Car & Enter Dodger’s Base
Players can initiate Gig: Waiting for Dodger by getting into the passenger’s seat of a car that is parked just outsideDogtown’s entrance gate. After receiving a rundown from the woman inside this vehicle, fans should follow the in-game waypoints to reach Dodger’s base, which is just across the street.
Find Bill and Charles
Players must now set their sights on locating Bill and Charles, and they can be found in thebasementof the building. To reach this area, fans must use anelevatornear thesouthwestcornerof the base’s first floor, and they can use stealth and distraction to bypass theCyberpunk 2077enemieswithout engaging in combat.
Upon entering the basement, players can use a non-lethal takedown on the enemy that they encounter and then interact with the door to start a conversation with Bill and Charles. Fans should then help the pair open the door and follow them to learn more about their situation.
It is now time to escort the officers to the building’s garage, andCyberpunk 2077playerswill encounter several groups of enemies along the way. Again, distractions and non-lethal takedowns are the optimal ways to deal with these enemies, and fans should find themselves in the garage in short order.
Notably, players will be required tofind a way to open a doorduring this section, and that task can be completed by following thewiresandoverridingthe electric box to which they are connected. Additionally, theVolkodav Iconic Machetecan be looted from a case just beyond that door, and fans should make sure to grab it.
Cyberpunk 2077: Should You Tell Dodger That Officers Are Telling the Truth or Lying, or Draw Your Weapon
In the garage, players will have a confrontation with Dodger, and it is during this confrontation that they must make a choice. Specifically, fans must decide if they will tell him that the officers are telling the truth or lying. Alternatively, players can simply draw theirweapons inCyberpunk 2077, and here is how the mission unfolds for each of those selections:
He is Telling the Truth & Draw Your Weapon
Selecting either of these options will quickly turn the conversation into agunfightwith Dodger and his crew. Fortunately, these enemies are quite easy to defeat, and player can loot theRosco Iconic Power Revolverfrom Dodger’s body once he has been slain.
He is Lying
Telling Dodger that the officers are lying will prompt them to reveal the reality of the situation, which Dodger will find quite humorous. In fact, he takes such enjoyment in the story that he is willing to let Bill and Charles go, provided that all the enemies in the base were left alive. If that did not occur, Dodger will change his mind, and the aforementioned gunfight will occur.
In summary, there are only two possible ways for this gig to conclude: with a gunfight that leaves Dodger and his crew dead or with everyone walking away alive. With respect to which one is best, killing Dodger does come with a bonus reward in the form of the aforementionedIconic weapon. That said, players that prefer to act as peacemaker, and those that simply have no use for a Power Revolver, should feel free to pursue the pacifist approach.
