As many avid fans of the popular first-person shooter franchise will no doubt be aware, theTwitter account forCrysisre-emerged recently after its lengthy four-year hiatus. This naturally led many to assume that a newCrysisgame was on the cards, especially with the franchise not seeing another entry since its release ofCrysis 3back in early 2013. It seems the speculation was correct, with a new leak confirming that the series will be returning very soon.
Twitter user RobotBrush, while digging through the franchise’s official website, managed to uncover a splash page and some official details that confirm a “Crysis Remastered"will be coming to modern consoles in the near future. Not only will the spruced-up version of theiconic first game in the franchisebe hitting the likes of PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, but in a surprising move, it’ll also be making its way to the Nintendo Switch, marking the franchise’s debut on a Nintendo console.
