Players will have learned quickly thatWood Armordoesn’t do much for them, which is why moving on to a better piece of armor is advised. The same is true withCopper Armor, players should look to move on when they can, but it is a decent enough set of armor to allow the player to start stockpiling better resources with some protection before they buy any further armor sets.

4Bronze Armor

Bronze Armoris a mid-game level of armor and starts to offer some real protection to players. It can be drafted on theTin Anvil, and unlike other sets requires 2Metalsto craft. The set will cost the player 15Tin Bars, 15Copper Bars,and 12Fibrefor the set. While there are no set bonuses for this armor, each piece of armor gives a bonus individually. The helmet gives a bonus to mining damage, the breastplate provides a bonus to melee damage and the pants give a bonus to ranged damage.

Players will of course want to move onto a better armor set at some point, butBronze Armorcan last the player for quite a while and offers good protection against lower-leveled mobs.Bronze Armoris a stable of the genre, appearing in many of themost influential survival games.

TheIron Armoris slightly better thanBronze Armor, making it a great choice for players in the early game who need protection from increasingly difficult mobs. TheIron Armorset is crafted at theIron Anviland likeBronze Armortakes 2Metalsto craft. In total, the set will require 38Iron Bars, 6Gold Bars, and 17Fibresto craft.

On top of each piece of armor giving the player a bonus to their Overall Damage, theIron Armorset also has a set bonus. When all 3 pieces of the set were worn, the player will get a 19 % additional armor bonus at low health.Core Keeper’s pace of progression makes it a fun andunderrated survival game.

2Carapace Armor

TheCarapace Armoris one of the best armor sets in the game and one that players can stick around in for many hours before they need to upgrade any further. TheCarapace Armorset can be crafted after the player defeats Ghorm the Devourer by placing its crystal in its statue by the core. The armor set only has 2 pieces and will set the player back 21Tin Bars, 9Larvas Meat, 14Slime,and 11Fibre.

Each piece of armor gives the player a bonus to explosive damage and wearing both pieces gives the player a 24.3 % damage bonus for a short duration after mining a wall. This armor is great for exploration and helping the player to deal with any enemies they find on their way. It’s a classicsurvival game mistaketo try to simply ignore or evade mobs, and theCarapace Armormakes it so that the player doesn’t have to.

1Scarlet Armor

Scarlet Armoris currently the best armor set in the game and goes well when matched withCore Keeper’sbest weapons. The player can craft theScarlet Armorat theScarlet Anvil, with the set costing 47Scarlet Bars, 9Iron Bars, and 21Fibreto craft. Each piece of theScarlet Armorgives a bonus to critical hit chance and when worn all at once, the player will be provided with a bonus to Critical Hit Chance, which is triggered by killing an enemy and can stack 5 times.

TheScarlet Armoris more of an offensive-based armor set compared to the others available in the game, and its protection makes it a mandatory set of items for the player to eventually obtain.
