Infinity Ward added a newcontract systemin its latest patch forCall of Duty: Warzone. With these rare contracts come the opportunity to earn permanent Blueprint Rewards for players who can find and complete them.
With theSeason 4 updateforCall of Dutyfinally going live after delays, a lot of new content has been added to the game.Warzonenow has more in-game events that will affect the Battle Royale matches, like releasing already downed players back into the match or flying a helicopter full of supplies into the Verdansk airspace. Along with these changes comes this new contract system, which the patch notes call the Contraband contract System.

With this new contract system, players can earn a permanentBlueprint Rewardwhen they complete a Contraband contract’s mission. In order to do this, players need to find one of these rare contracts which have a chance of spawning once a player completes another contract. The contract a player completes doesn’t specifically need to be a Contraband contract — any contract completion can spawn a Contraband contract. The rare contracts will spawn in a briefcase that can be seen on the player’s Tac Map after they have completed a contract.
Once a player has obtained a Contraband contract, they must complete the mission in order to obtain the permanent Blueprint Reward. To do so, players need to make their way to a designated Helicopter Extraction location. Once there, they can call a helicopter to their location. When the helicopter arrives, the player holding the briefcase can complete the mission by depositing it into thehelicopter drop-bag. However, other players can kill the one holding the one holding the briefcase to steal it and complete the contract for their own team.
These new additions with the Season 4 updates are giving players new goals to work with while they’re battling it out inVerdansk. With the new events and bug fixes that have been patched,Warzoneis ready to launch new and exciting experiences in the game. There will be a lot of new additions that players can look forward to seeing while they playCall of Dutythis summer.
