Typically,Call of Duty: Modern Warfareupdates only come once a week, but this week is an exception to the rule. Infinity Ward released aModern Warfareplaylist updateon April 21, but on April 22, it released a new patch that fixes a popular exploit players have been using in the game, as well as addresses some of other bugs that players have been dealing with in both the standard multiplayer andWarzone.
The new update forCall of Duty: Modern Warfareis rolling out to all platforms now, and the main thing it does is fix the bug that lets players equip weapon attachments that they haven’t unlocked. Players were able to do this using an exploit in the GameBattles mode that allowed them to get attachments in both standard multiplayer andWarzonewithout having to put in the work to earn them. While this seems relatively harmless, it isn’t really fair to the players who did the grinding necessary to get all the attachments.
