Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Game Modes List
Despite the popularity of Gun Game, manyCall of Dutytitles tend to launch without it, only to then add it later on as a temporary playlist. This happened with the 2019Call of Duty: Modern Warfaregame, as well as the games that followed it, so it’s not all that surprising to see it happen withModern Warfare 2as well. As for Gunfight, a version of it has been a mainstay inCall of Dutygames since it made its debut in the 2019MW, but it’s missing fromModern Warfare 2at launch for some reason. It’s possible Gunfight will be added toModern Warfare 2at a later date, but nothing has been confirmed at the time of this writing.
Most of the multiplayer game modes inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2at launch should be familiar to fans of the franchise, though there are a couple of new modes to take note of as well. One is Knock Out, where there are no respawns and players have to hang on to a package for longer than the enemy team. The other isPrisoner Rescue, where one team has to guard hostages and the other team is tasked with rescuing them. Similarly to Knock Out, Prisoner Rescue inModern Warfare 2does not allow for respawns.
