These siege upgrades allow for Talion to take over fortresses easier, andMiddle-earth: Shadow Of Warwill make it no easy challenge to claim an entire fortress withplenty of Orcsand other deadliness present. Thebest siege upgrades inMiddle-earth: Shadow Of Warwill make the player as strong as the One Ring to Rule Them All.
6Olog-Hai
If players want to maximize their efforts for an attack, then Olog-Hai is an upgrade to aim towards. This upgrade will grant Talion a subspecies of troll, the Olog-Hai, which will allow players to easily crush any walls in their path. The Olog-Hai are supported by the main assault army of Talion.
By having the Olog-Hai active on the battlefield, not only is there a higher immersion of a siege and war but there is more focus on them as cannon fodder. Olog-Hai is resistant to a lot of damages thatmay seek their endor the end of the smaller armies beneath them.

5Defender Host
Players can select between a few Host armies for their siege upgrades, but Defender Host certainly holds as one of the best to have. This upgrade grants players a bunch of defenders that will join the mighty army of Talion against the fortress that he is trying to invade and conquer.
Armed with shields, Defender Hosts inMiddle-earth: Shadow Of Warwill be a necessity when it comes to taking control points. If players want to advance with greater numbers, shielded allies are a great way to go about it, as they can protect themselves, each other, other Grunts, or even Talion if he needs a loyal group of Orc bodyguards to help him capture points.

4Cursed Siege Beasts
Not only are siege beasts a great threat to the defending side o fortress, but they each have unique abilities to further assist in the destruction of those that seek to get in the way of Talion. For the best upgrade, players should invest in Cursed Siege Beasts, which grants players support from siege beasts that can fire dark and paralyzing projectiles to maximum effect.

Stunning enemies is always a useful tool, especially when it means that Talion can release a flurry of devastation upon stunned enemies that cannot counter. The Cursed Siege Beasts will be able to stun enemies, meaning far fewer ally Orcs murdered because some Orcs are stunned. The use of dark damage will also not negate or counter the effects of fire or ice attacks, meaning these beasts are free to cause chaos among the battlefield without interrupting Talion’s own attacks.
3War Graug
Beasts continue to be a great ally when tamed to Talion. Graug’s return forMiddle-earth: Shadow Of War, and one can beutilized by Talion, dominated into a loyal soldier, and a deadly beast of full potential. With the War Graug upgrade, Talion will have the gigantic and recognizable beast to lay siege upon the battlefield and unleash devastation.
Even though a Wild Drake would be pretty cool, and flying around can be fun inMiddle-earth: Shadow Of War, the fact that fire can burn allied Orcs means that War Graug is the better upgrade, as no Orcs will catch fire with this great beast around, although it’s normal if enemies feel somewhat intimidated.

2Fire Archers
Although there are a few choices of archers to choose from, the Flame Archers are arguably the best of the bunch.Orcs can be pretty pesky, and the Fire Archer Orcs will certainly make the enemies feel that way. These Orcs can shoot enemies with flame arrows, causing their enemies to further lose health based on the fact that they are suffering burn damage.
Not only is the added burn damage good for maximizing the damage dealt to enemies, but the fact that enemies are stunned as they try and put out the fire just means they are open to even more attacks, whilst not able to hit anyone themselves.

1Inspiring Banners
With the Inspiring Banners upgrade, Orcs that are affected and inspired will be given the bloodlust attribute, thus granting them an enraged status. This buffs the Orcs affected, as they will attack with greater ferocity, meaning more damage, quicker attacks, and less health to be lost by the enraged Orc army. The alternative to Inspiring Banners is Overpower, which allows allied orcs that have infiltrated an enemy fortress to capture control points faster. This is a great bonus for the 6th upgrade slot, but Inspiring Banners wins based on the attack power.
Inspired Banners will certainlyassist Talion in a fight. Some fortresses that Talion encounters may seem as if he is outnumbered, but thanks to the sheer aggression of the enraged Orcs on his side, he should be more than happy in taking away yet another fortress from the evil and diabolical Sauron himself.
