Once acquired, it enables P to execute a dodge when he is knocked down. This is particularly essential against mini-bosses and bosses that have attacks that can knock P off his feet. Dodging while getting up also gives P some distance from his target, getting some breathing room to heal up.

Utilizing Fable Artsis essential for Balance builds since it helps P take chunks out of enemies, especially bosses, after a successful Fatal Attack. Once the enemy starts to come to and get back up, P can follow up with a nasty Fable Art that his weapon is packing to further bring the hurt on his target.
However, some weapons require three Fable Art slots. This is why increasing P’s Fable Art meter is paramount since it gives him more uses of his weapons’ Fable Arts against bosses.
Enemies and bosses inLies of Phave corresponding weaknesses to elemental damage. This is why investing in the Increase Staggerable Window upgrades is essential to make later boss encounters more tolerable in between weapon clashes.
Having this activated will give players more breathing room to counterattack bosses, provided they’ve dodged or Perfect Guarded their prolonged attacks and filled up their target’s Stagger meter.
Even when dodging or blocking attacks, enemies inLies of Pwill eventually hit players for some damage. Thankfully, players don’t need to use their Pulse Cells immediately: P can regain lost health by hitting enemies for a short period because of Regain.
That said, getting Retain Guard Regain upgrades in the P-Organ is essential, especially against bosses. While all enemies and boss attacks can get Perfect Guarded, it takes a lot of practice to do so: a normal Guard can mitigate some damage, but it will activate Regain.
Mastering the Perfect Guardis the hardest but most rewarding thing to do inLies of P. Even Fury Attacks from bosses can be Perfect Guarded, but it needs attentiveness to visual queues, perfect timing, and tons of practice to pull it off.
Perfect Guarding bosses is especially crucial as it greatly fills up their Stagger meter which makes them susceptible to a charged and Fatal Attack. Getting the Perfect Guard Causes Stiffness P-Organ upgrade enhances the effectiveness of Perfect Guarding against enemies and bosses. Successful Perfect Guards greatly increase the bosses’ Stagger meter, leaving them susceptible to Charge Attacks and Fatal Attacks.
Pulse Cells arethe main healing iteminLies of P. Whether players are running a Balance build or otherwise, having access to multiple Pulse Cells is mandatory, especially during the more harrowing and challenging boss fights.
The Increase Pulse Cells P-Organ upgrade gives players more chances to survive particularly difficult areas and boss battles. More charges mean players can explore more areas to discover collectibles, and more chances for them to defeat relentless bosses, provided they replenish their health when bosses stop attacking them.
WhilePulse Cells grant P healthwith each use, during the latter areas and boss fights, the HP gained from the Pulse Cells might prove to be lacking. This becomes apparent once players level up their Vitality and enemies begin to take out P with less than three hits.
Getting the Enhance Pulse Cell Recovery is essential once players begin encountering more formidable enemies. With this activated, Pulse Cells replenish P’s health even more: during difficult boss fights, using Pulse Cells will give P regain more health which allows him to continue the battle.
