Summary
Ever since his first appearance inMario Tennison Nintendo 64 in 2000,Waluigihas proven to be a fan-favorite character among theMariocommunity. The man in purple rose in popularity throughout the Nintendo 64 and Gamecube eras and is nowadays considered a mainstay for everyMariospin-off title.
Throughout the years, Waluigi has starred in many different games, and he has shown to the public that he can play tennis, golf, football, and more, race in go-karts, be a superstar at parties, and much, much more. But of course, Waluigi fans will always be wondering: which of his gaming outings are the best?

5Mario Party 6
Waluigi has been a playable character in everyMario Partyentry afterMario Party 3, where the man in purple appeared as the true antagonist of the game. While his role inMario Party 3would easily be one of the best Waluigi has ever had, sadly he wasn’t a playable character in that game, not even after beating the main story. The bestMario Partygame with playable Waluigi falls on the shoulders ofMario Party 6,which is the bestMario Partyof all time.
What makesMario Party 6stand out from every other entry is a great selection of boards and minigames, some of which are among the best the series has ever had. Other than that, the game’s main gimmick, which is the day and night system, works incredibly well both for boards and minigames, making this entry in the franchise an unforgettable one.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxeis easily the bestMario Kartgame, and of course, Waluigi is present as a playable character. The game has some of the most well-designed tracks ever seen in the franchise, and it also has an insane amount of content, especially after the Booster Course Pass has been released.
It’s also worth noting that the game has not one, but two tracks dedicated to Waluigi: Waluigi Stadium and Waluigi Pinball, the latter of whichis considered by many as one of the greatestMario Karttracks of all time. This is more than enough to make the game a must-have for every serious Waluigi fan.

3Mario Power Tennis
While Waluigi’s very first appearance was in the firstMario Tennis, the game’s sequel,Mario Power Tennis, is undoubtedly the better gameand is by far the best tennis game Waluigi has ever appeared in. The game took everything that made its predecessor great and upgraded it: there are more game options, courts (including gimmick courts), characters, minigames, and so on.
The game has a lengthy single-player campaign, which will keep players busy for quite a long time. However,Mario Power Tennisis at its best when played in multiplayer, as is the case almost for every other sports game. It’s worth noting that the game was later ported to Wii, and while these two versions are basically the same game, the Wii version is plagued by sometimes unresponsive motion controls, something typical of the early Wii era (luckilythings would get better with time). This is much more of a shame when taking into consideration that the Wii would never get a proper main game in the series, which is still odd considering the system was perfect for tennis games.

2Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour
Mario Golf: Toadstool Touris the best game in this golf-related subseries, by far. The game, just likeMario Power Tennis, takes everything great from its predecessor and ramps it up to eleven. There are more courses, more characters, more side modes, and so on. Of course, one of the best additions in the game is the introduction of Waluigi, who wasn’t present in the first game.
While further entries in the series would still achieve a great reception from critics and fans,Mario Golf: Toadstool Touris still considered the best game by many fans, partly due to the sheer amount of content present in the game and partly for how the game managed to find a good balance in difficulty and challenge. This game is surely a must-have for every fan of arcade golf video games and every Waluigi fan alike.

1Super Mario Strikers
Super Mario Strikersis the first game in this football subseries. The game takes the very basic rules of football and turns the game into something completely different by adding power-ups, hazards, super shots, and much, much more.
Waluigi appears as one of the playable captains in the game, and he’s meant to be played in an offensive role. His Super Strike is called Drop Rocket, and it sees Waluigi kicking the ball into the air before kicking it again with both his feet, making it bolt to the goal. While further games in the series would provide some new content and new gameplay gimmicks, the first game in this trilogy is still the most balanced and fun entry, and it’s really a must-have for every Waluigi fan.
