Summary

Persona 3 Reloadis both a typical and non-traditional RPG. Not many games are set in schools or offer players more time to socialize with their party than battling through dungeons. On the traditional side of RPGs, players can equip their aforementioned party with equipment like accessories.

While perhaps not as exciting as weapons or Persona that the main character, referred to as Makoto, can capture,Persona 3 Reload’s accessoriesare an important part of a party’s loadout. They provide small improvements that can make surprisingly big differences in battle. Consequently, new players looking to get through the first 10 or so hours of the campaign will want to pick the best accessories for the first four playable characters.

Immunity Charm accessory in Persona 3 Reload

8Immunity Charm

Resist Poison

The Immunity Charm is a bit misleading if players don’t read the description. It will negate the effects of the Poison status ailment or at least it will attempt to keep players from being poisoned. The cure for Poison inPersona 3 Reloadis called Dis-Poison, so that’s one of the reasons why it is an oddly named accessory. There is also another status ailment called Charm.

Names aside, Poison is as common of an RPG status ailment as they come, and the basics dictate that players should be prepared to protect themselves against the disease.

Ascetic Charm accessory in Persona 3 Reload

7Ascetic Charm

Resist Charm

The Ascetic Charm will counteract Charm-based attacks. Characters under the Charm spell will attack party members, and if multiple characters fall under the status ailment, it can spell bad news. Thankfully, accessories like this exist, and it is cheap too.

Yen, which isthe currency ofPersona 3 Reload, is not easy to come by, but 3,000 Yen is not too shabby of a price either. Still, accessory or not, players have to stay on their game around Charm-filled enemies because they are tricky.

Reason Charm accessory in Persona 3 Reload

6Reason Charm

Resist Confuse

The last status ailment accessory worth bringing up in the early hours is the Reason Charm. This will have a chance to block the Confuse status ailment, which works like Charm but is slightly altered. Confused characters can attack themselves, party members, or enemies. Their actions are wild, and the reason why this accessory outranks Charm heavily is that confused characters can waste items.

Have you been saving up that one item that will heal HP/SP for the whole party? All RPGs have items like this, includingFinal Fantasywith its Megalixir potions. Well, a confused character can waste these items inPersona 3 Reload, which is why the Reason Charm accessory is a good one to buy.

Small Sash accessory in Persona 3 Reload

5Small Sash

HP +20

The Small Sash is a simple but effective accessory that moves away from protecting against status ailments. It can be bought at the local police station, and it will increase the character’s HP by twenty.

The more HP characters have, the less players have to worry about using healing items or spells or getting aGame Over screen. 20 HP may not seem like a lot, but it is during the early hours of the campaign. A good character to equip this to would be the main character, Makoto, since so much rests on his shoulders.

Pixie Dust Talisman accessory in Persona 3 Reload

4Pixie Dust Talisman

SP +10

The Pixie Dust Talisman falls under the same category as the Small Sash as it boosts a stat. It will increase the character’s SP by 10, allowing them to cast more spells like Agi. SP is even more important than HP asPersona 3 Reload’sturn-based RPG mechanics heavilyrevolve around spells.

An enemy can be downed by a spell it is weak against, leaving it open for opportunistic strikes. This also leads to near-guaranteed better rewards after battle, so a spell-heavy party with plentiful SP is a plus.

Earrings of Grit accessory in Persona 3 Reload

3Earrings Of Grit

Revives From Death With 1 HP

The Earrings of Grit protect against death. If a character falls in battle, they will be revived with one HP once per battle if this accessory is equipped. Due to its limited use, players can’t take advantage of this accessory to trivialize the game, although thedifficulty options inPersona 3 Reloadcan technically already bypass death.

Challenge levels aside, the Earrings of Grit are expensive, but they are obtainable early on if players grind for money. Also, to unlock the Escapade Luxuries store located in the club, players first have to get theirCharm Social Stat inPersona 3 Reloadup to level two.

Amritite Necklace accessory in Persona 3 Reload

2Amritite Necklace

Prevents Status Ailments

The Amritite Necklace can also be purchased in the club’s exclusive store. It is expensive too, but again, it is technically obtainable toward the beginning of the game. Players who do save up for it will have guaranteed immunity against all status ailments.

Equipping four party members with it would be pretty darn expensive, so it’s a good idea to just give it to the healer of the group. Yukari, for example, has a lot of healing spells with her Persona. So, if she’s safe from disease, then the party will be fine too since she can heal debuffs or injuries.

Avaricious Ring accessory in Persona 3 Reload

1Avaricious Ring

Gain 15% EXP

The Avaricious Ring is the cheapest accessory exclusive to Escapade Luxuries, and it is also the best. This magical little trinket will increase the wearer’s EXP rate by fifteen.Persona 3 Reloadis a grind and a half just like the oldDragon Questgames.

Plus, all experience is shared between both party members and Persona captured. So, the more ways players can increase their EXP rate, the better, which will lessen the time it takes to level up. For deep leveling-up sessions, it would not be a bad idea to buy four of these rings for the party, which would be a grind as well on the money side.
