Antonio Banderas once again voices the titular Puss in Boots who has to go on another adventurous journey in order to get back his nine lives. That’s not going to be an easy quest. Just like Del Toro’s famous moviePan’s Labyrinth(2006), this movie touches on the topic of war and combines it with a fantasy story.
Despite the fact that many animated movies are still perceived as oriented at children, adult viewers will enjoy this movie the most as it addresses topics such as living and dying. The movie is intelligent, touching at times, and visually beautiful as well. It contains several songs but not so many that it would be inaccessible to those who don’t like musicals.Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchiohas been nominated for several Golden Globes and is doing well with the audience too.
