Climbing into the cockpit of a mech is many gamers' fantasy. Jetting around the battlefield and laying waste to one’s enemies with rockets and lasers is a power fantasy that has been explored in manga, anime, and video games alike.

Galahad 3093is an exceptional mech title, putting pilots called Knights in control of fearsome war robots known as Lances. From weapons and mods to weight classes and paint schemes, there’s a lot for new pilots to think about. Here are some great beginner tips for players new toGalahad 3093.
6Know Your Lance
Every great mech has something cool going for it.Every Lance inGalahad 3093consists of a weight class, variant, equipment loadout, mods, and Knight. The lighter the Lance, the smaller, faster, and more fragile it is. The heavier the Lance, the larger, slower, and more robust it is. Super Heavy Lances do more damage than the other types, so they present another unique style of gameplay for those that want to hit as hard as possible and don’t mind slow-walking across the battlefield.
One’s choice of Lance build is a matter of personal preference. It’s best to simply experiment will all of them and learn the strengths and weaknesses of each. New players will have the easiest time starting with either a Medium or Heavy Lance since they provide the player with a good all-around foundation that can be further adjusted to meet the player’s needs.

5The Module Makes The Mech
Every weight class has a selection of variants and modules for the player to choose from to customize their Lance. These modules are divided into Tiers, each with its own prerequisites. Different variants have different stats and mod capacities, and some variants come with built-in mods that grant them intrinsic buffs not available to other variants.

At the beginning of the game, the player has access to only a handful of variants, but more will soon unlock. To keep things simple, early-game variants tend to have good base stats but limited mod capacity, ensuring that players won’t be able to sabotage themselves too badly with the wrong build. As the player gets further in the game they will unlock variants with weaker base stats but vastly improved modding options, allowing the player to let theirmin-maxing creativity go wild.
4Equip For War
Equipment is the weaponry the Lance will use to dispatch its enemies, so it’s one of the most important considerations inGalahad 3093.A Lance can bring two primary weapons, two secondary weapons, and a deployable. Primary weapons are - as they sound - the player’s main damage dealers, whereas secondary weapons serve a supplementary role.
Ingreat mecha animeand video games alike, knowing one’s equipment is a priority. Just like with Lance types,it’s important to familiarize oneself with the different weapons and deployables.Though there isn’t a large selection of them, understanding the important differences between a Caltrop and Corvus goes a long way toward creating a viable build. Using theSelect Rolefeature to jump right into a pre-built Lance to experiment with different styles and strategies can be a good option here.

3Mod For Your Playstyle
Mods affect six areas: Offense, Defense, Mobility, Sensor, Utility, and Universal. Though they may not be as big or flashy as primary weapons, mods are critically important. The customization they allow is what really brings builds together in many cases. Some mods improve existing features, such as by radically improving reload speed or the armor of one’s Lance.

Other mods have an even more dramatic impact on one’s playstyle byadding new mechanics such as the ability to hover or jam enemy turrets. These mods can change the way the player approaches battles, not only changing one’s playstyle but also opening up new playstyles altogether. There’s no way to know all the ways that one’s gameplay might change with mods short of actually using them, so rather than dwell too much on the possibilities, at first it’s good to just jump right in and start playing around with the different options.
2Know Your Knight
As important asthese awesome giant robotsare, they’re nothing without their pilots. There are only a few choices when it comes to the Knight who will pilot one’s Lance. Each Knight has both an active and passive ability that helps make them more than just different skins of one another. Knight abilities - from Storm Pulse and Galvinism to Royal Dome and Queen’s Gambit - are as varied as they are strong.Even if the player changes nothing else about their Lance, changing Knights can lead to remarkably different results in battle.
It’s arguably harder to get used to the strategic differences between Knights than it is the differences between mods or weapons, so - as elsewhere - the best thing the player can do is experiment. Whether the player’s preferred strategy is one of head-on aggression or something more mobile and tactical, there’s a Knight that will bring that strategy to new heights.

1Stay In The Fight
If there’s one thing that giantrobots are good at, it’s destroying things. Because of this, the player will need a good way to keep their Lance repaired and stay in the fight. Thankfully,Galahad 3093gives players several ways to repair their Lances. The trick is learning the differences between each method and which ones are best for a given Lance and a given situation.

All Lances can heal other Lances and allied structures by standing next to them and looking at them long enough for their Repair Beam to activate. Though this makes every teammate a mobile healer, finding a teammate willing to stop for some repairs isn’t always the simplest proposition. The player can also use one of the Repair Pads scattered across the map to heal themselves, but this option is only available if the player’s team controls the nearby Capture Point. TheNano Repairmod allows the Lance to automatically regenerate armor as long as its shields are full, and the deployable Corvus repair drone is also an effective healing option, though it doesn’t fare well if the player is particularly mobile.
