Despite numerous leaks coming out regardingBattlefield 6, little is known about the latest game in the series. While leakers have indicated that the nextBattlefieldgame is in good shape and is playing well, fans have wanted to know when exactly the game will be revealed — and now they may have an answer.
ReliableCall of DutyleakerTom Henderson recently tweeted out a response to another leaker named Anton Logvinov. The Russia-based insider, while echoing claims that the game is running well, claimed that the game is something fans will not want. Henderson describes himself as a “long time fan of theBattlefieldfranchise” and says that he does “believe it’s what fans want,” so it will be interesting to see which leaker is ultimately correct regardingBattlefield 6.

Regardless, in a follow-up Tweet, Henderson provides a potential reveal window after reiterating that “everything [DICE] is doing” will be approved of by fans. Henderson ends his tweet by saying “don’t expect a reveal until Spring,” and while this is still far off, this confirmation of a Spring reveal window is better than having no idea on when more information will be coming. A Spring reveal also lines up perfectly with theHoliday 2021 release date forBattlefield 6that was confirmed by EA.
Henderson’s comments on how “feedback from 3rd parties has been overwhelmingly positive compared to previous installments” should be extremely promising for fans of the series. While opinions will certainly vary on the game when it arrives, knowing that those who have had a chance to play the game early have enjoyed it is surely good news for theBattlefieldcommunity. Based on the positivity thus far, DICE seems set to deliver onBattlefield 6’s ambitious ideas.
With a potential release window highlighted and another insider doubling down on the previous claims that said the game is looking good, the only question remaining is why exactly the two insiders disagreed on if fan approval ofBattlefield 6’s direction. While this is purely speculation, it could very well have to do with the game’s setting. PerhapsBattlefieldis returning to the modern era just liketheBattlefield 6teaser hoaximplied, leaving fans of the newerBattlefieldtitles and their World War settings disappointed.
Regardless, it will be some time untilBattlefieldfans find out which leaker is correct and the friendly debate on the latest game’s fan appeal is fully settled. Until then, messing around with thebuilds ofBattlefieldmaps inMinecraftseems like a fun way for hardcore fans to start the waiting process for the reveal, as it seems like it is going to be a long one.
Battlefield 6is currently in development with a tentative release window of Holiday 2021.
