Despite looking like a reasonably simple game on the surface,BattleBit Remasteredis surprisingly deep in its detailed and highly-destructible maps, playable vehicles, and character customization options. In addition, it boasts a number of classes that players can choose from to suit their playing style, which can be complemented with any of the assortment of weapons in its armory. For the Recon class and long-distance warfare enthusiasts, there are a total of ten different Marksman and Sniper Rifles to choose from. Of those ten, which are the most effective from long-range at dispatching the opposition?

10MK14 EBR

A friendly rifle for players of all skill and experience levels, the MK14 EBR feels andbehaves somewhat like a more lightweight weaponthan its counterparts. It sports a big magazine for its class, with 14 bullets in a clip, and has one of the best recoil ratings to make it easier to chain shots together.

It is fortunate that the magazine and recoil support quick firing, particularly for a marksman rifle, as the MK14 EBR has the lowest damage rating in the class. That’s not to say that this weapon won’t be lethal in the right hands, and players can test themselves once achieving a rank of 60.

9M110

Of the four Designated Marksman Rifles inBattleBit Remastered, the M110 has the hardest punch. Boasting a damage rating of 49, it is the most lethal of its class, however, it does come at the expense of some significant recoil. But for players accustomed to handling the kickback from this weapon, it will be the perfect partner in crime on the battlefield.

The M110 generally won’t put away foes in a single shot, however, its larger magazine allows for 12 chances to hit the target. Despite its recoil, it has a lightweight feel and is easy to maneuver to make up for it. Players will require some experience inBattleBit Remasteredto acquire this weapon, as players from rank 40 are able to use it.

The L96 isa reliable long-range weaponon account of its high damage rate and reasonably low recoil. This means that players will be able to make quick work of their opponents with one well-placed shot, or quickly recover for an additional opportunity should the first blow be unsuccessful.

The gun has a moderate magazine size for its class, with 10 bullets per clip, and has the potential to kill hostiles with a single shot. It is a worthwhile companion on the battlefield, however, players will need to work to earn the L96, as it requires rank 65 to unlock.

7MSR

The final prize that awaits those dedicated players willing and able to commit themselves toBattleBit Remastered, the MSR has one of the best range ratings in the weapon class. The weapon does bear its limitations in magazine size, as there are only 6 bullets per clip, and it is another bolt-action weapon requiring cool-down between shots. While there are downsides to this, it is safe to say that these will be manageable for players who reach the required rank of 130 to make use of this weapon.

6M200

With a staggering damage rating of 70, no other weaponamong the Marksman and Sniper riflesinBattleBit Remasteredhit with as much force as the M200. This high-damage weapon was built for violence, with its compact design complemented by a very long barrel.

While the M200 is unmatched in damage, it may not be fruitful in the hands of a less-experienced marksman. The weapon has a small magazine of only 7 projectiles and is bolt action, which means that a small cooldown is required between shots. For players to be effective with this gun, they will need a steady hand and a true aim, which justifies its rank 100 requirement for use.

5MK20

The MK20 is the first gun players can unlock from the marksman rifles and is a sturdy introduction to the benefits and limitations of the class. It has a damage rating that puts them in the middle of the pack at 45 but has a fairly significant recoil that will require some adjustment for new players.

With 16 rounds in each of its magazines, the MK20 is a great starting point for budding Recon specialists as the large clip size supports a more forgiving playing style that requires less time reloading. It has a fast fire rate for a long-range weapon, which players can experience first-hand at rank number 10.

This weapon has a solid damage rating which can deliver 14 high-powered shots for each magazine, with the highest fire rate in the class to make follow-up shots far easier.

While it doesn’t have the best damage rating, it has very low recoil and a high fire rate to make it easier to dispatch opponents with speed. Players won’t get many one-shot kills with this weapon, but the perks associated with it support taking multiple shots. This is one of the last weapons players can unlock for the Recon class, requiring a rank of 115.
