How to Begin Tilting the Balance in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla?
Tilting the Balance requires players return to Tamworth Fortress, located in the southern section of Ledecestrescire. In the southern section of the fortress, players will run into Sigurd and the sons oflegendary Viking Ragnar Lothbrok, Ivarr and Ubba. Behind them and inside the pig shed is the Lady Aethelswith. Entering this space will begin this quest.
While the following conversation gives players the chance to alter how Eivor speaks with Lady Aethelswith, they do notmake an impact on this part ofAssassin’s Creed Valhalla. Whichever form of persuasion the player chooses, Lady Aethelswith will give up the location of her husband, King Burgred.

Where to Find King Burgred in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla?
King Burgred can be found at Offchurch, where the Awry and Alne rivers join in the south of Ledecestrescire. Once players make it to the outskirts of this fortified location they canlean on Eivor’s ravento give a general area to investigate. On the northern side of this encampment is a ramp that leads directly up a pole that features ropes that go all over Offchurch. These rope lines lead to the southeast and to a crypt building guarded by a sleepy Skirmisher.
If players exercise patience, they can assassinate this enemy from the roof and carry the body inside without bringing about any unwanted attention. Continue down the stairs inside and into a room with a single guard playing with an obstruction on the left wall. Crouching to the stairs shouldn’t provoke this guard and leads to a fork which aims either down and to the right or up and to the left. Heading to the right will bring players to another room with a preoccupied guard on the left.

Continuing through the doorway brings players to the penultimate room with a guard on the right. Killing this enemy grants the key to King Burgred’s room and players begin a cutscene once inside. The following fight takes away Eivor’s weapons and, instead, they just need to dodge and beat up the King until he can be tied up. In this room, players should loot the chest to gather a unique weapon inAssassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Sepulcher Axe.
Players need to pick King Burgred up and return him to Tamworth Fortress. Instead of retracing steps, players can return to the previous room and open the jammed door to the outside where a horse will be waiting. Tamworth Fortress isn’t too far to the north, however, there are plenty of patrols after Eivor and these will intensify as players get closer to their destination. This is especially true once they run across Sigurd, Ivarr, and Ubba at Venonis. Once inside the Fortress, players can return to the beginning of the mission to finish Tilting the Balance and advance this arc inAssassin’s Creed Valhalla.
