The spring season has arrived, even within the worlds of players’ favorite video games. InAssassin’s Creed Valhalla, players who were able to log into the game from March 18, and visited their homestead of Ravensthorpe, have probably seenthe blooms of the Ostara Festival. However, due to some prominent bugs and issues, Ubisoft had to remove several of the festival’s features. Now, there are rumors that the patch to resolve these bugs may be coming to the PlayStation 5 version ofAssassin’s Creed Valhallasooner than later.

Assassin’s Creed Valhallarecently experienced an influx of players, even though months have passed since it was released in November 2020. Not only did the development team add new features in Update 1.2.0 such as armor and weapon transmog, they also rewardedloyal players with a Godly Reward. This rewardsAC Valhallafans with 300 Opals and the aesthetic items from the previous Yule Festival. Opals are premium in-game currency that can be used to purchase legendary items or unique aesthetic decorations in Reda’s shop in Ravensthorpe.

According to the Twitter post of PlayStation Game Size, the team behind the account was recently able to discover the patch update toAssassin’s Creed ValhallaUpdate 1.2.0 within the PlayStation 5 database. Players who experienced theOstara Festival game-crashing bugswill recall that the issues revolved around the Ravensthorpe decoration spots, making it impossible for them to complete the story quest specific to the festival. Other bugs also involved players seeing Eivor suddenly de-synchronizing within Ravensthorpe with no apparent reason.

PlayStation Game Size also mentioned the file size of the patch update, noting that it may be a medium sized patch that will not change the overall file size ofAssassin’s Creed Valhalla. Though the post did not mention anything about the patch for the PlayStation 4, one commenter on the thread asked about the topic. PlayStation Game Size answered by saying that it will be the same size, hinting that the patch update may be available on the PlayStation 4 as well.

Though Ubisoft has mentioned that they will be releasing a patch to fix all these issues, the devs have not stated when they will officially release the fixes. With the Ostara Festival currently ongoing, hopefully the fixes will come in soon so players can still enjoy the festivities around Ravensthorpe. With the nextAssassin’s Creed ValhallaDLCcoming soon, the festival was a great way to pass the time until the release of the new story content.
