Rogue characters inAFK Journeywill act as either a Main DPS or sub-DPS, specificallytaking on close-quarters combatand charging straight towards the back row. Often, Rogues are overlooked due to many players prioritizing Marksmen and Warriors. However, including a Rogue in the team will make it much easier to take out those hard-to-reach enemies.
With eight different Rogue characters available, fans ofAFK Journeywill want to ensure they are picking out the best option available toinvest their precious Diamondsinto. For those looking to make their team as robust as possible, these are the strengths and weaknesses of all available Rogues.
8Salazer
A Rogue Lacking In Power
Salazeris a Rogue that has the potential to take out some of the most hefty enemies in the game. He will often go after the enemy with thehighest amount of HP, which can be useful, since Tanks often require extra effort to finish off. However, despite focusing on these difficult enemies, he doesn’t seem to possess the damage or ability to actually defeat these foes.
His Ultimate will strike an enemy with 30% damage, and an additional 5% damage equal to the enemy’s current HP. These numbers aren’t enough to consistently finish them off, rendering Salazer relatively useless. Although he has a few other abilities, such as restoring his HP and increasing his Life Drain, it won’t be worth much if Salazer is the first to be taken out.
7Berial
A Decent Disruptor
Berialis a Rogue that looks good on paper, with the ability to easily take outisolated enemiesand a focus on defeating single enemies, which makes him ideal for boss fights in the Dream Realm. However, despite having these Skills available to him, he doesn’t ever seem to execute them to their fullest potential.
Although his Ultimate will allow him to be invincible and deplete large amounts of Energy from opponents, its damage is incredibly low. As most Rogues are centered around dealing damage, he doesn’t seem to fit too well into that box. He can be useful to players who ensure he is paired with a strong DPS, but outside of this, he won’t bring much to the team besides disruption.
6Walker
A Relatively Slow DPS
For those looking for a Rogue tostun enemiesand prevent them from attacking,Walkercould be a decent choice. As players begin to upgrade his Shotgun Blast Skill, they’ll notice that the move can easily stun an enemy and deal Critical Hits to them. While many of his Skills can provide this additional bonus, he doesn’t have much else going for him.
Not only is Walker’s damage quite low for a Rogue, but he is also very limited in his range. Players won’t often see his attacks hitting a large area of enemies, he is rather slow, and he doesn’t have much in the way of survivability. Ultimately, fans ofAFK Journeyshouldn’t focus on ascending andleveling up their Walker, as he won’t do much to aid the team.
5Silvina
An Assassin With Average Abilities
As a Rogue,Silvinawill immediately make her way to the back row of the enemy team to take out their healers, Supports, and more. Her Ultimate can deal up to 360% damage, and will drain the enemy’s Energy by up to 300. Though her damage can reach incredible heights inAFK Journey, it won’t be worth much if she dies almost immediately in battle.
Without at least unlocking Silvina’sExclusive Weapon, players will find that she won’t last after making her way to the back row of the enemy team. She struggles to defend herself, and requires the shield that her Exclusive Weapon provides to survive. Though she can be quite powerful when fully ascended, she ranks lower due to her lack of flexibility before that point.
4Seth
A Strong Upgraded Rogue
Sethis a surprisingly powerful Rogue inAFK Journey, especially when ascended and leveled up. Players can utilize him in just about any format, including the main story, Dream Realm, and even PvP, which is where he really comes out on top. However, he does require a bit of investment, as this will allow him toheal himselfand recover a large amount of his Energy.
If players use him at his base level, it’ll become glaringly obvious that he won’t survive long. He lacks the ability to heal himself quickly enough, meaning he often begins the battle without doing much damage before he dies.Ascending him all the way to Supreme+, and reaching Level 231, will ensure he can stay in the battle for an extended period of time. Otherwise, it might be better to focus attention on another Rogue.
3Shakir
Powerful And Stable
Shakiris a well-rounded Rogue, with the ability to not only deal massive damage to foes, but to buff himself and the rest of the team while doing it. He can reduce the amount of damage taken by his allies, increase their Haste and ATK, and gain some Life Drain. Shakir can also reduce an enemy’s Vitality when fully ascended to Supreme+.
For players who want a character that can perform well in just aboutany mode, Shakir is a prime option. He can last a long time on the battlefield, while dishing out tons of damage and providing Support to his team. Despite being a character who is great in every way, it’s hard to say that he is a master at any of his abilities, which is why he doesn’t reach the top spot. He is still agreat character to add to any player’s Wishlist, however.
2Eironn
The Best PvP Rogue
While there are a few areas whereEironncould improve,such as the Dream Realm, his incredible abilities inPvPare enough to make him one of the best Rogues to invest in. Like so many other unlockable characters inAFK Journey, he will really show off his abilities once players unlock hisExclusive Weapon, allowing him to use his Ultimate repeatedly without spending any Energy.
His Exclusive Weapon will give him the chance to immediately use his Ultimate as well, taking out enemies almost instantly after starting the battle. Not only can he dish out massive damage, but he can alsoimmobilizeenemies, reduce their Haste and Magic DEF, increase his own Ranged DEF, and put up a shield to protect himself from incoming attacks. Players will find that Eironn is a sturdy Rogue, and is worth the time and effort to ascend.
1Vala
Flexible And Destructive
While most Rogues struggle to survive on the battlefield,Valais one of the few that can turn herselfinvisibleto protect against any damage. Along with this, Vala will easily finish off back row enemies with herSwift Shift Ultimate, dealing up to 450% damage in the Skyblaster mode, while simultaneously stunning her foe.
That’s not where Vala’s abilities stop. She can also increase her ATK, movement speed, and Haste, as well as recover Energy, andreduce an enemy’s Haste. Vala is an incredible Rogue at her base level, but becomes even more unstoppable with each upgrade. She can either destroy enemies from a safe distance, or slash them to pieces from up-close.
