Holland nails the character perfectly and his inability to stop talking during the fight, while admiring the other heroes, captures the youthful essence of Peter Parker flawlessly.
Being able to take down Falcon and the Winter Soldier, who have twice as much experience in the business, was an impressive feat forHolland’s Spider-Man. This scene proves that even though Holland’s Peter Parker is new to the superhero scene, he’s more than capable of keeping up with the big leagues.
Garfield’s Spidey Saves MJ (Spider-Man: No Way Home)
Each of the Spider-Men were forced to suffer through grief and loss, but the passing of Gwen Stacy definitely broke the hearts of millions. Having been so close to saving her, watching Gwen die in Peter’s arms was arguably one of the most emotional Spider-Man scenes yet.
Audiences feared for MJ duringNo Way Homewhen she slipped out of Holland’s grasp, but when Garfield’s Spidey swung in to save the day, it felt like closure in a very dark chapter of Spider-Man history. This scene also offered some light-hearted moments of comedy, where each Spider-Man shares tales of their most epic battles and Maguire tried to explain how his webs work, which Holland’s Spider-Man then amusingly inquired whether or not it comes out of…other places.
After so much denial from the actors, Marvel’s attempts to keep the movie’s secrets and the lack of Maguire and Garfield in the trailers, fans had a lot of mixed emotions about whether or not the gang would come together for the next installment of theSpider-Man franchise. Needless to say, watching the Spideys kick butt together was a moment that superhero fans will never forget.
